Our story
From clothing support to a circular model for impact
The Egyptian Clothing Bank began its journey in 2012 with a clear purpose: to ensure that clothing resources reach those who need them most.
Over the years, our role has grown beyond clothing distribution. We developed a circular model that gives clothing and textiles a longer life through collection, sorting, repair, alteration, upcycling, recycling, and sustainable production.
Today, ECB connects environmental responsibility with social impact, transforming available resources into solutions that support communities, empower individuals, create livelihood opportunities, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
